CLEARWATER, Fla. – Deputies shot and killed a suspected armed intruder in Clearwater on Friday morning, according to the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office.

Investigators said that a 911 call came in around 6:44 a.m. about an armed home invasion on Candler Road.

The suspect accused of breaking into the home is an adult man, according to PCSO.
No injuries were reported to the homeowner or deputies.
