Video captured on dashcam showed the deputy performing a traffic stop when he looks up and hurriedly gets out of the way.
The cruiser is seen jolting forward and then another vehicle slowly rolls into view.
The driver of the vehicle that crashed into the back of the cruiser was later found to be in possession of drugs and under the influence.
