TOMY International has recalled 40,000 baby bottles due to a possible choking hazard.
Consumer Product Safety Commission officials said in a June 4 recall noticethat the bottle’s hard plastic outer shell can bubble or partially peel off, and this may result in loose pieces of film like plastic that pose a choking hazard to young children.

No injuries have been reported as a result of children using the bottles, but TOMY International received 135 reports of bubbling or peeling of the outer plastic shell.

TOMY International’s recall involves Boon NURSH 8 oz Reusable Baby Bottles3-Pack in pink tie-dye. Consumer Product Safety Commission officials explained in the recall notice that these items were sold in a package of three and feature a hard outer plastic shell that encases a soft silicone pouch.
The baby bottles were sold at Walmart stores and Walmart.com between November 2025 and May 2026 for $20.

What you can do:
Owners of the baby bottles are urged to stop using them immediately and call TOMY International to receive a refund in the form of a $22 booninc.com store credit or a replacement set of three bottles in a different color, according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission.
