A Florida man was shot and killed by a woman after a verbal argument over a parking spot at Walmart led to a deadly shooting.

What we know:
The shooting happened Tuesday afternoon at the North Lauderdale Walmart Supercenter, according to the Broward County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies say a woman and a man were in the parking lot when they began to have a dispute over a parking space. Investigators say the argument escalated, and the woman produced a firearm and shot the man.
The sheriff’s office identified the victim as 62-year-old Bart Diguglielmo, of Lauderhill.

What they’re saying:
The woman remained on scene after the shooting, was cooperative and told detectives she shot the man in self-defense.
What’s next:
The Broward County Sheriff’s Office is continuing to investigate. However, the case will be turned over to the Broward County State Attorney’s Office, who will then make a determination if anyone will be charged.
