LARGO, Fla. – The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that left one man dead and another hospitalized with life-threatening injuries near Largo Thursday night.

What we know:
PCSO says deputies responded to 132nd Avenue North in the Ridgecrest neighborhood after receiving a report of a shooting involving multiple men.
According to the sheriff’s office, one man was pronounced dead at the scene.
A second man was taken to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries, PCSO said.

Investigators said everyone involved in the shooting is known to one another.
PCSO said there is no threat to the public.
