Mexican TikTok influencer Cesar Gastelum was shot and killed during a livestream at a fast-food restaurant, authorities said.
The shooting occurred Tuesday in the northwestern city of Culiacan, in Mexico’s Sinaloa state, according to local officials.
What we know:
In the livestream, seen by Reuters, Gastelum was outside when two people on a motorcycle approached him and his friends. The video showed the driver of the motorcycle apparently firing a gun directly at Gastelum.Â

Gastelum was known for his comedic videos on TikTok, where he had amassed nearly 600,000 followers.
