A late-night mass shooting outside a nightclub in a small Louisiana town on Sunday injured seven people, while even more individuals were hurt as they tried to escape the scene.<\/p>

The Thibodaux Police Department\u00a0indicated<\/u> the shooting happened around 10 p.m. near the intersection of East 10th Street and Narrow Street in the southern Louisiana town, about an hour south-west of New Orleans.<\/p>

Seven people suffered gunshot wounds in the incident. None of the injuries were considered life-threatening, the police department reported. Its statement added that others were hurt as they fled the area, but it did not say how many.<\/p>
