VENICE, Fla.<\/strong> – <\/span>The northbound lanes of I-75 in Sarasota County closed after a fatal crash early Wednesday morning, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.<\/p>

FHP said authorities responded to a two-vehicle crash in the northbound lanes of I-75 near mile marker 193 at 4:12 a.m.<\/p>

All traffic lanes have been moved off the interstate using exit 193 on Jacaranda Boulevard.<\/p>

FHP is investigating the crash and working to clear debris from the roadway.<\/p>

What we don’t know:<\/p>

It is unclear how the crash started, or how long the roadway will be blocked.<\/p>
