Here\u2019s what else it found:\u00a0<\/p> <!-- --><h2>The 9 political types: Which one are you?\u00a0<\/h2> <!-- --><div><\/div> <!-- --><div> <iframe allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" data-v-57eb5ac0=\"\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" src=\"https:\/\/e.infogram.com\/8b424497-35e3-42cb-9c61-5f97665d0cd9?src=embed\" title=\"\" width=\"100%\"><\/iframe> <!-- --><\/div> <!-- --><p>Dig deeper:<\/p> <!-- --><p>Of the nine subgroups identified by Pew, only the first four were described as &#8220;highly ideological, politically engaged and overwhelmingly&#8221; partisan. They are split equally between the right and left.<\/p> <!-- --><h3>No Apologies Right\u00a0<\/h3> <!-- --><p>This is one of two conservative groups considered loyal supporters of President Trump. This group, about 9% of Americans, is similar to Faith First Conservatives, who also fervently support Trump, but they &#8220;take harder-line positions on most issues,&#8221; Pew says.\u00a0<\/p> <!-- --><p><strong>RELATED: <\/strong><strong>Restaurant owner faces backlash after saying he\u2019d prefer to hire men over women<\/strong><\/p> <!-- --><h3>Faith First Conservatives<\/h3> <!-- --><p>Faith First Conservatives, meanwhile, emphasize religion, morality and social traditionalism over other issues. Pew says 12% of Americans are in this group. Like the No Apologies Right, they are majority Christian, male and white.\u00a0<\/p> <!-- --><h3>Leftward Progressives<\/h3> <!-- --><p>This is the youngest and most liberal subgroup identified by Pew. They tend to be very politically engaged and vocally critical of Trump. They will almost always vote for a Democrat over a Republican, but unlike their older Loyal Liberal counterparts, they don\u2019t have that much faith in the Democratic Party. Pew says 7% of Americans identify with this typology.\u00a0<\/p> <!-- --><p><strong>RELATED: <\/strong><strong>FBI fires analysts linked to controversial &#8216;Catholic ideology&#8217; memo<\/strong><\/p> <!-- --><h3>Loyal Liberals<\/h3> <!-- --><p>Loyal Liberals, on the other hand, are more attuned to the &#8220;establishment,&#8221; a traditional Democratic Party with more trust in institutions and a notion that the U.S. has a global role in diplomacy. They are progressive, but not as left as the Leftward Progressives, particularly on economic policy. Pew says 11% of Americans identify with this typology.\u00a0<\/p> <!-- --><p>Leftward Progressives and Loyal Liberals are both considered highly educated and largely White.\u00a0<\/p> <!-- --> <!-- --><h3>Unconventional Right<\/h3> <!-- --><p>These people &#8220;are decidedly Republican-oriented and generally conservative,&#8221; Pew says. But unlike their more extreme conservative groups listed above, they are more moderate on issues like abortion and a social safety net.\u00a0<\/p><p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/tampamovingjournal.com\/?p=3398\">Tip-over risk prompts recall of baby-changing tables<\/a><\/p> <!-- --><p>They tend to be younger, but still overwhelmingly voted for Trump in 2024. As of 2026, only 53% of people in the Unconventional Right group approve of Trump\u2019s job performance. Pew says 12% of Americans fall in this category.\u00a0<\/p> <!-- --><h3>Pragmatic and Polite Right<\/h3> <!-- --><p>This group also leans Republican, but they are more centrist than other typologies. According to Pew, 56% of people in the Pragmatic and Polite Right are Republicans or Republican-leaning, while 37% are Democrats or lean Democrat.\u00a0<\/p> <!-- --><p>They are fiscally conservative and more moderate on social issues like race and immigration. People in this group are the oldest of any of the nine typologies, and they &#8220;place a high value on civility in politics.&#8221;\u00a0<\/p> <!-- --><p>In 2024, 54% of people in this group voted for Trump, but nearly 66% now disapprove of his job performance. Pew says 11% of Americans are in this group.\u00a0<\/p> <!-- --><h3>Order and Opportunity Left<\/h3> <!-- --><p>This is &#8220;by far&#8221; the largest group, Pew says, with 18% of Americans falling into this typology.\u00a0<\/p> <!-- --><p>In this group, 65% are Democrats or lean Democrat, while 25% are Republicans or lean Republican.\u00a0<\/p> <!-- --><p>&#8220;One of the most racially and ethnically diverse groups, they are economically liberal but are more concerned about crime and more supportive of immigration restrictions than other majority-Democratic groups,&#8221; Pew explained.\u00a0<\/p> <!-- --><h3>Left-Out Left<\/h3> <!-- --><p>This group is &#8220;overwhelmingly Democratic-oriented, with a mix of liberal and moderate views.&#8221;\u00a0<\/p> <!-- --><p>As one of the most financially strapped groups, they tend to feel ignored by the government and remain skeptical about politics in general.\u00a0<\/p> <!-- --><p>Pew says 12% of Americans are in this typology.\u00a0<\/p> <!-- --><h3>Tuned-Out Middle<\/h3> <!-- --><p>There\u2019s not much to say about the Tuned-Out Middle group, probably because of their &#8220;exceptionally low level of interest in politics.&#8221; They are politically divided, though.
