What we know:
GTA fans can begin pre-ordering the game beginning June 25.
The newest game will follow protagonists Jason and Lucia as they navigate through the fictional U.S. state of Leonida (which is inspired by Florida).
Just like in games past, players will get a chance to enjoy fast cars and other video game shenanigans while exploring Vice City (inspired by Miami).
What we don’t know:
Rockstar did not announce the price of the video game as of this report.
The backstory:
The first Grand Theft Auto hit store shelves back in 1997.
Its soaring popularity led to multiple sequels over the years — with much anticipation (and sometimes long waits) between each installment.
