A recall has been issued for 12,461 kids pajamas sets sold on Shein.com which pose a hazard of severe burn injuries or death.Â
Consumer Product Safety Commission officials stated in a recall noticethat the items violate the mandatory flammability federal standardfor children’s sleepwear.Â
To date, no injuries were reported linked to the kids’ pajamas.Â

Sweet Cubby Children’s Loungewear Sets were affected by the recall. The two-piece sets consist of a short-sleeved shirt and matching shorts and are sold in a variety of colors in children’s sizes 5-6Y through 13-14Y.

The pajamas were sold on Shein.com between June 2025 and May 2026 in the price range of $8 and $12.Â
Are refunds available for the recalled pajamas?
What you can do:
Owners of the kids’ pajamas should stop using them immediately and take them away from children and call Sweet Cubby to get a refund.Â
Additionally, consumers will be required to destroy the loungewear sets by cutting them in half and sending a picture of the destroyed items to [email protected]. Once the photo is submitted, consumers should throw the product away.  Â
